The Storytellers Program is our flagship program serving middle and high-school-aged youth. The program consists of weekly group meetings with mentors, self-paced online courses with mentor support, and participation in extraordinary Stories to Create events. The Storytellers Program creates connections with youth and their mentors and peers. It provides a structured curriculum to cultivate resilience and empower youth to craft their own story today and into the future.
The Junior Storytellers Program is similar to the Storytellers Program, which only focuses on elementary school youth. It includes weekly group meetings with mentors, self-paced online courses with mentor support, and participation in extraordinary Stories to Create events. All content and interactions in the Junior Program are calibrated to meet elementary-aged youth’s developmental and social-emotional needs.
Stories to Create Events are times when our program participants get to shine, and EHAS expands its reach outside of our Storytellers Programs. These events include special speakers, tailored workshops, celebrity engagements, debates, and performances. Stories to Create Events are designed to celebrate each youth’s talent and story and give them an opportunity for inspiration and connection to something bigger than themselves.
Storytellers Jamaica is the branch of EHAS providing services to youth in Jamaica. This program shares the same principles and goals as the Storytellers Program but works with residential programs in Jamaica in partnership with the federal and local governments.
EHAS understands that genuine leadership in any cause is rare, we know it’s beyond price, and always the nucleus of significant achievements.
EHAS operates by incorporating financial resources harnessed from grants, donations, and sponsorship support.
