On December 14, 2024, the spirit of giving and community filled the air at the Morningside Primary School in Junction, St. Elizabeth. The much-anticipated Christmas of Hope event brought joy, support, and togetherness to 948 children and their families from the region. Organized by Cornell Bunting and his dedicated EHAS Team, this heartwarming celebration marked a milestone of hope and resilience.
A Celebration of Unity and Support
The event united students, teachers, and principals from five participating schools—Brinkley Primary, Red Bank Primary, Rose Hall Primary, Ballard’s Valley Primary, and Morningside Primary—in a day filled with activities, laughter, and camaraderie.
From engaging games and activities for the kids to mental health and wellness support sessions for families, the Christmas of Hope truly lived up to its name. Attendees enjoyed delicious food and refreshments, which added to the festive cheer.
